Master Steve Bartley

Master Steve Bartley, owner and head instructor at Elite Martial Arts, brings 27 years of expertise as a 7th degree black belt in Taekwondo, a 2nd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and is a black belt in Japanese Jiu-Jitsu. His martial arts journey began in 1985, and since opening his own school, he has become a respected figure in the community, known for his passion and dedication to student success.

Embodying the philosophy that "There is no 'I Can’t' in our school,” Master Bartley emphasizes effort, guidance, and patience in his teaching. His role extends beyond instruction; he is a mentor and a father figure, known for his discipline and high standards that inspire and shape his students.

As a proud father and husband, Master Bartley balances personal life with professional devotion, making him not just a master of martial arts, but also a role model in personal development. At Elite Martial Arts, he continues to nurture a thriving community, guiding students of all ages on their journey to martial arts mastery.

A 3rd-degree Black Belt instructor with a special passion for teaching our youngest martial artists, the Little Dragons. Maddy is not only a skilled martial artist but also a natural leader, guiding our students through our leadership program. Beyond the gym, she's an experienced teacher who brings her creativity to every class, ensuring that learning is always fun for the kids. Maddy firmly believes that children should have a blast while learning, and her enthusiasm is contagious, making her a beloved and inspiring figure in our martial arts community.

Mateo Balcaceres

Sparring Coach

Mateo began his lifelong journey in martial arts at age 5. With 15 years at Elite Martial Arts and a 3rd-degree black belt, he finds fulfillment in passing on his knowledge and witnessing student growth. As an engineer, Mateo excels in breaking down TKD concepts effectively. His passion for LEGO and cars enhances his teaching, connecting with students and instilling discipline and focus. Mateo's commitment to TKD truly adds to his invaluable role as an instructor.

Taylor Feindel

Senior Taekwondo Instructor

An esteemed 2nd-degree Black Belt TKD instructor, known for her inclusive and empathetic teaching approach. Taylor understands that each individual possesses unique strengths and weaknesses and takes pride in helping people of all abilities, ages, and sizes achieve their martial arts goals. She instills in her students the values of patience and perseverance, fostering a supportive and empowering learning environment. Taylor's dedication to guiding her students on their martial arts journey is truly inspiring and encourages everyone to embrace their individuality while striving for excellence.

Jada Bartley

Growing up in a martial arts household, Jada, a 2nd-degree Black belt, has a profound appreciation for the power of unity and leadership within a team. Jada's passion extends to our Little Dragons, where she finds immense joy in nurturing young talents and instilling in them the values of discipline and respect. Having experienced firsthand the positive impact a great gym can have on children, she's committed to creating an environment where kids can thrive, not only as martial artists but also as confident individuals.

Gabi Mauricio

Junior Taekwondo Instructor

An accomplished instructor holding the rank of 2nd-degree Black Belt, brings her passion for soccer into the martial arts arena. She motivates her students through friendly competition, instilling a drive for excellence in each class. Gabi encourages students to train with family and friends, making the journey toward their goals more enjoyable and attainable. Gabi's enthusiasm for both martial arts and sports shines through as she inspires her students to reach new heights while fostering a sense of togetherness.

Molly Mauricio

Junior Taekwondo Instructor

A dedicated 2nd-degree Black Belt instructor whose journey in martial arts has been inspired by those who came before her. Molly's passion lies in helping her students thrive by assisting them in setting goals, fostering tenacity, and witnessing their remarkable progress. She finds immense joy in guiding brand new students, instilling in them the belief that they have the potential to succeed.

Jastin Alcantara

Sparring Coach

Jastin is 2nd-degree Black Belt and one of the head coaches for our TKD Sparring team. Jastin emphasizes the importance of discipline as a fundamental aspect of training, instilling in students the values of focus, dedication, and respect. He firmly believes that giving your best effort is paramount, regardless of the outcome, and encourages his students to embrace this mindset both on and off the mats.

Mike Lorette

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor

A first degree BJJ black belt with 18 years of experience and originally hailing from the east coast, Mike is one of our dedicated evening Jiujitsu instructors. His Jiu Jitsu journey was a turning point in his life, introducing him to a community filled with positivity and support. Mike's encouraging and inclusive teaching style resonates with students of all levels. Mike believes in the transformative power of Jiujitsu and is passionate about helping students embark on a path of self-improvement and martial arts excellence.

Hal MacDonald

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Instructor

Hal MacDonald is one of our Black Belt instructors dedicated to mentoring young adults in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Beyond our gym, he's a respected leader in the BJJ community, retired but focused on raising awareness and funds for kids through The Organization Little Warriors. Hal's passion for learning takes him to gyms worldwide, and he plays a pivotal role in teaching fundamentals and helping out in our Junior BJJ program, instilling discipline and resilience in the youth.

Rob Goerzen

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals Instructor

Rob Goerzen, a Brown Belt in Jiu-Jitsu, is a vital part of the Elite Martial Arts team as one of our dedicated Fundamentals Instructors. Women's Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals Instructor

Linda is our Women's Fundamentals Jiu-Jitsu instructor, devoted to sharing her deep passion for Jiu-jitsu.
